Our expert says:
Mom24, it may be possible that some of your baby’s blood came in contact with yours and that you made antibodies against the Rh antigens. This means that if you have an Rh positive baby again that your antibodies may react with it and do it serious harm. Your gynae was supposed to inject you with Anti-D to prevent this from happening and you can ask your doctor to do tests to determine whether you have anti Rh antibodies. Good luck.
