Blisters on my lips

I woke up with something that looks like blisters on my lips; what causes that and how can I treat them

The commonest cause of blisters on the lips is herpesvirus infection=fever blisters. Note well-I am NOT making a diagnosis. I am merely stating a fact. Contact with chemicals can also lead to blisters on the lips. Some allergic rteactions to medication may cause blistering. I am not sure what the cause in your case is.
