blaasinfeksie????

Ek urineer oneindig baie, en sodra ek klaar geurineer het wil ek weer gaan. Was 5 dae gelede by my GP waar hulle my urine weggestuur het, maar die uitslae is nog nie bekend nie. My urine is baie verdun en lyk soos water.

Hallo Charlene
Jy mag dalk 'n blaas inflammasie of "irritable bladder" hê - probeer bietjie Urispas pilletjies 3 x per dag, vermy koffie en ander stimulante?

Go to another urologist. This doesnt sound right. As CD says try Urispas but if the blood in your urine continues you need to go to another specialist until you find out the cause.

Good luck. Lots of blood in the urine is NOT normal.

PS I have chronic kidney problems so I know all about bladder/kidney problems and am under treatment with my urologist.

My Bhilartzia is weg (toets my nog gereeld). Ek sukkel ook met konstante urienweg infeksie.

Did you have a cystoscopy when you went to the urologist a few years ago to find out the cause of your problems? If the lab does not culture your results, then you don't have an infection. If you say the Macrodantin is not working, then maybe its because it is not sensitive to your type of infection. That's why your doctor might need to change your treatment when he gets more final results which will show which antibiotics are resistent/sensitive to the type of infection you have if your results are positive. If he then switches your treatment to one sensitive to the infection, you should notice a dramatic improvement if you are on the right treatment.

However, it sounds as though you should have a cystocopy anyway if you haven't already had one to find out the cause of the blood in your urine if you only had tests done previously. Continuous blood in the urine is not normal and the underlying cause needs to be found.

Sorry for the English, but I am not very good at writing Afrikaans!
