Been sterilized - more about reversal?

I have been sterilized 6 years ago and would like to have it reversed
What is the success rate? Procedures and possible cost implication?

The success rate depends on the type of sterilsation you had. If the tubes were cut and tied, the success rate is about 5%. If you had clips applied to the tubes, the success rate is about 20-30%. The procedure involves a cut on your abdomen and then surgery to rejoin the tubes. Most medical aids do not pay for this and the cost would be in the region of R6000, though it will vary from doctor to doctor and hospital to hospital.

Best wishes
