Dear Louise
All legumes (cooked or canned dry beans, peas, lentils and soya products) are excellent foods being high in plant protein, dietary fibre, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients and low in fat with zero cholesterol. So-called baked beans contain 388 kJ and 0.5 g of fat per 100g.

What sort of sugar is in the *sauce* of Koo baked beans? Is it low GI? Does it spike my blood sugar.
