Backwards uterus

Hi.
I have been told by my Gynae that my uterus is backwards.
What exactly does this mean, and can this affect me in any way?

It means that the uterus is poiting backwards. This is the case in about 25% of women and is not a problem.

Best wishes

Hi there

I had the same problem that went hand in hand with painful periods and heavy bleading. I had it fixed years ago. It did not prevent me from having kiddies - my daughter is turning 3. I would suggest that you speak to a good Gynae.

All the best
