Back problems

Hi doc,

Last week wednesday my mom went into hospital for a steroid injection and manipulation on her back.

It has been exactly one week since and she is still in pain.

She has 3 vertebre that are dehydrated and compressed and her column is too narrow.

How long does it take the steroid injection to work as she keeps needing to have injections for the pain and cannot drive or move around alot.

She is only 45 years old

Dear Buffs
The steroid injections don't always work as well as we want them too. She must please inform her doctor that it is still very painful. It may be that she needs an operation or hospitalization with intensive physiotherapy or traction too.
