ASTHMA

MY BOYFRIEND IS AN ASTHMA SUFFERER SINCE CHILDHOOD.HE HAS TO CONSTANTLY USE HIS PUMP TO BREATH EASILY.THE PROBLEM HOWEVER IS THAT HE IS A SMOKER, AND HAS BEEN FOR MANY YEARS NOW. HOW BAD ARE THE EFFECTS OF HIS SMOKING HABIT ON HIS CONDITION?
