Arnold Chiari

My husband has been diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation and is having an op in a month's time.
He has always suffered from bad sinus, and has been for scans, but doctors always tell him that it's just seasonal.
could the Arnold Chiari syndrome have any cause in sinus symptoms? Will it get better after the op?

It is difficult to say whether or not the sinus is affected in your husband's case - however, most patients who have surgery experience a reduction in their symptoms. Some patients may experience prolonged periods of relative stability.
