Alternatives to eggs and nuts

I am trying to find alternatives to eggs and nuts in a weight reduction diets. At the moment everything I have read states that eggs and nuts are goods fats to have while lossing weigh. What can I use instead and still get the nutrients I need.

You can use lean meat and fish instead of the eggs to provide you with protein and iron and olive oil in small quantities to provide monounsaturated fats instead of the nuts.
