Dear Allergy Wondering
If you suspect that you have a milk/dairy allergy or intolerance you can ask your gp to send you for allergy tests. These tests will indicate which foods you need to avoid. If you should be allergic to milk or dairy foods, then you will need to use a calcium supplement such as Calcium Sandoz or Caltrate to ensure that you still obtain 1000 mg of calcium a day.
