Dear Mary
Alcohol causes dilatation of the small vessels in the skin which eventually lose their tone and stay dilated, causing a red flushing especially in the face and hands. Alcohol is also dehydrating, causing premature aging and wrinkling. The chemicals in alcohol damages the liver, causing portal hipertension and spiderveins.

What can be done to remedy these symtoms of red flushing?
Assume alcohol abstinence is one option but is there any other action that can be taken?
Regards
Ron
