Aggressive 7 month baby girl

Hi there...

I have a 7 month old girl who seems to show aggression towards other babies.
If sitting in the company of other babies she will charge crawl towards one, climb on them, grap a foot or hand and bite. She pushes them over and works herself up till she starts crying. As if she is frustrated. We have to pull her off as she makes the other babies cry from her actions.

She''s our first baby, and the first grandchild so she gets tons and tons of hugs and kisses and affection. I don''t know if she means well with her actions, if it''s because she is teething or something more serious.

It started off rather funny, but getting more concerning everytime.

Aggressive type behavior is a normal part of a babies development.Usually born out of frustration as little ones are incapable of expressing themselves verbally. The question is how to react appropriately. It is difficult at such a young age to communicate that aggressive behavior is unacceptable. Most importantly, don't react in anger. Believe it or not, this only reinforces the behavior. The most simple solution is to respond immediately and remove your child from the situation when she reacts in this way no matter how she may protest. And then to reward good behavior by making a fuss of her when she shows gentle behavior towards others. If this doesn't alleviate the issue it will be worth your while to take her to a children's' therapist to investigate any underlying issues that may not be apparent to you.
