If previously diagnosed with hpv and a pap comes back abnormal and the doctor wants to do a colposcopy is this any reason for concern? Would you have to have a colposcopy everytime you have a pap?

The colposcopy is done because of the normal pap. It assesses how severe the abnormality is and what treatment you may need. After treatment you would not have to have a colposcopy with each pap.
