Unknown illness

My mother is 54 years old and keeps herself in very good shape. Currently, however, she has not been feeling well and these are her symptoms: chills, aching "burning" feet (she NEVER has sore feet ), stomach cramps (but no diarrhea or vomiting or loss of appetite), confusion\difficulty concentrating and severe dizziness. She is gradually feeling better each day, but I'm wondering why she feels so ill if she isn't eating or doing anything different from normal? What is this?

Hi

She might have had a viral illness that is starting to "clear", but I suggest that she rather has a good check up at the GP. I suggest that her blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood glucose, iron and haemoglobin levels are checked, as well as her urine. An undiagnosed urinary tract infection can sometimes cause one to feel generally ill without being able to pinpoint the exact cause. Good luck and I hope that your mother feels better soon.
