Stomach ailment

Our Jack Russel x Foxy has a stomach ailment (Gastric Colitis) and the vet told us it was caused by eating nuts. We have seen her eating a plant and this helps with cramps. We do not know what plant it is. We giving her two drops of slippery Elm in the morning and again in the evening. She has not had a spell for months and we decided to give her only in the morning. The cramps returned. I would like to know what else we can do other than giving her also a low fat diet. Thank You.

The best will be to contact your local vet for advice, it is hard to make a diagnosis without examining your pet. Your vet will decide on the suitable treatment plan going forward.
