Difference between Cipla ZAR 50 and Spec-Losartan 50

I had an heart attack in 2012 and the cardiologist prescribed Cipla ZAR 50. Now the chemist changed it to Spec-Losartan 50. Is it safe to use it after so many years of using Cipla ZAR 50?

Both generic tablets, BUT there are generics and generics. You may ask your chemist to order exactly what was prescribed. Watch his blood pressure at home, aim for 135/85 or less. If his BP is not there, he has to see his dr again, because BP must be controlled at all times, to prevent damage.
