Dear Nobuhle,

Uterine transplantation is a fascinating but very difficult and challenging surgery. It requires immense expertise and there have only been a few reported cases done in the world thus far, and even fewer that have resulted in a successful pregnancy thereafter. Unfortunately I am not aware of any place in South Africa where such surgery is being done as yet.
