Hi, is taking plasmoquine long term safer than taking cortisol when I have fibromyalgia and sjogren's flare ups? Thank you

Hello, I have been diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome with associated fibromyalgia. I am not on medication and have flare-ups every 6-8 months. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with atypical pneumonia which afterwards was ascribed to the Sjogren's. In hospital, I was on a cortisone drip for 2 days along with PPIs and antibiotics. The cortisone helped me a lot and I went into remission for a long time. I wanted to find out whether I can take intravenous cortisone once off if I have a flare up of the sjogrens or fibromyalgia rather than taking chronic plasmoquine? Thank you Susan
