Fibroids at 41 Years

Dear Doc I have just been diagnosed as having fibroid in my uterus. This was discovered when I went for scans for my internal organs by my GIT specialist. But for the past years I've been having very heavy painful periods , around the time of my ovulation I always feel horrible pain. My abnorman is very tender when I touch. I haven't seen a gynea after this, the results of the scan said I have a bulky multi fibroid uterus with largest measuring 22mm. I have 2 kids already and not planning to have any other and I also did a TL 8 years ago. What would be the for me, should I treat the fibroids (if there's any treatment) or can I remove them or do Hysteroctomy? I know will still get an advise from my Gynea when I see her. But Im just weighing my possibilities hanks for your advise

A multifibroid uterus with heavy periods would be best treated with a hysterectomy.

Best wishes
