5 weeks

hi

am 5 weeks pregnant and have already put on about 4kgs. Due to pregnancy? how much weight should u put on?
am 1.65m tall and normal weight btween 49 and 52.

also have "period pains" in my lower abdomen.

had blood tests and confirmation on sat.

what do i do now??

On average 12 to 15 kg during pregnancy, but that's only on average.

If pains not associated with bleeding and scan on Sat was normal, should be fine.

You shouldn't have put on weight yet, although some women retain water which pushes the weight up. The docs like you to put on a kilogram per month of pregnancy, with the ideal weight gain being around 10 -12 kgs by the end.

Period pains dont sound right, best to go to your gynae just to check up.
