Our expert says:
At the age of 15 months, most young children can basically eat most adult foods provided you give them small portions because their stomach capacity is still very much smaller than that of an adult's stomach. They also need to eat these small meals more often than adults (6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones). If you click on 'Diet' at the top of this page and then on 'DietDoc's articles' and search around article 65 you will find a whole series of articles on 'Diets for Toddlers' plus one article on 'Menus for toddlers' and ideas for health snacks, etc.
Hope this helps
