From neurotic to OK

Taking antidepressants may not only help alleviate depression, but could make you more extroverted and less neurotic, research suggests.

When we consider how much time we spend with other people, and how our state of mind can have a serious impact on the quality of their lives, we have to realise how silly it is not to take all the help we can get. And if that means taking anti-depressants, then it does.

And, it's not just about others; it's also about us. Who wants to feel anxious, overwrought and down in the dumps all the time? The scary thing is that some people get used to feeling that way and consider it normal. It doesn't have to be that way. If you need a helping hand and you feel hesitant in taking it, think about those around you. It might make all the difference to them.
