We love our dogs, and they love us even more. And they will usually show us just how much they love us by planting big, wet kisses on us. But that old saying, “A dog’s mouth is cleaner than yours” is just a myth. If you don’t believe it, just think about which part of its anatomy your precious pooch enjoys licking most!

So, as much as you love Lassie, avoid the face kisses. Rather limit the affection to hand-licking and belly rubs. And don’t forget to wash your hands after.
