How to remove a ring stuck on your finger

Hot weather, injury or arthritis can cause fingers to swell, leaving the ring stuck.

Here’s how to take care of the problem. First bathe the finger in cold, soapy water and try to remove the ring by pulling it firmly but gently over the slippery skin, using a gentle twisting motion.

If this proves unsuccessful, a thin piece of string (preferably dental floss) could be the solution.
