Sharks coach John Plumtree cautioned against Edinburgh's United Rugby Championship game against the Sharks being a revenge mission for their coach, Sean Everitt.

Everitt left the Sharks at the end of November 2022 after a set of oddball results, from where he detoured at the Bulls before moving to the heartland of Scotland's rugby.
