STRETCHING!
 

These should be done every session after your walk and before the resistance training sessions. Stretches include:

  1. Cat stretch
  2. Side stretch
  3. Triceps stretch
  4. Quadriceps
  5. Hamstrings
  6. Calves

Golden rules for stretching

  1. Make sure you are warmed up before you stretch.
  2. Hold your stretch in position for 20 - 30 seconds.
  3. Don't ever bounce whilst holding your stretch.
  4. Stretch until you feel a slight pull, never to the point of pain.
