These should be done every session after your walk and before the resistance training sessions. Stretches include:
- Cat stretch
- Side stretch
- Triceps stretch
- Quadriceps
- Hamstrings
- Calves
Golden rules for stretching
- Make sure you are warmed up before you stretch.
- Hold your stretch in position for 20 - 30 seconds.
- Don't ever bounce whilst holding your stretch.
- Stretch until you feel a slight pull, never to the point of pain.
