10 sex resolutions

There are ten resolutions that all South Africans should be making, which would go a long way towards sorting out many of the problems our nation is experiencing.

1. I will never have casual sex without a condom.
2. I will not cheat on my partner as this also puts them at risk.
3. If someone says no to sex, I will accept it.
4. I will make an effort to get a partner if I want one and am currently single.
5. I will remember that unprotected casual sex can also lead to unwanted pregnancies.
6. I will alert any of my previous partners if I contract a sexually transmitted infection.
7. I will respect someone’s right to make decisions about their own bodies.
8. I will remember that sex is also there for enjoyment and not as part of some game of manipulation or one-upmanship.
9. I will respect my sexual partners and will not reveal details of our encounters to other people.
10. I will accept that sex is something that should only happen between consenting adults.
