Condoms are easy to use, freely available and protects against unwanted pregnancies, HIV and some STIs. But take note of the fact that oil-based lubricants, like petroleum jelly or baby oil, could damage the latex and result in condom breakage.

Take action: Use only water-based lubricants, like KY jelly or natural yoghurt, when having sex with a condom; make sure you wash your hands after you massaged your partner with oil and before you touch the condom; don't wear lipstick or lip-ice when performing oral sex while using a condom.
