The Tai Chi Chuan movements are designed to achieve harmony, flexibility and strength. The movements relax muscles, free joints and ease tension.
Tai Chi Chuan provides a unique and complete exercise system that is suitable for people of all ages and requires little or no special equipment. It can be practiced indoors or outdoors in a relatively small area.
There are five components of Tai Chi Chuan, namely:
Pushing Hands
Self Defence
Internal Strength
Hand Form (including the short and long form)
Weapons Forms (including the sabre, the sword and the spear)
Tai-chi is a unique and complete system of exercise that anyone can do. The 13 movements (each of which has 10 to 15 extra moves) are designed to achieve flexibility, inner strength and balance and peace.
