Yoga – is it just a dodgy Eastern semi-religion, involving some seriously provocative posing? Fans say there's nothing dodgy about it at all - some forms give you a seriously hard workout; and all forms are excellent to promote suppleness and flexibility. And yes, those poses can be problematic if the men in the class don't dress to accommodate them, but they soon learn.

The truth is that there are as many different versions of yoga as there are needs.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful routine of stretching and inner stillness, or perhaps a way to become more supple while strengthening core muscles, maybe even a sweat-breaking aerobic workout – there is a version of yoga for you.
Just to comment on the yoga article. I have been doing yoga for almost 3 years now, still am and always have been a serious weight lifter at gym. yoga has made me 1000 times more supple, and heals you internally, with emphasis on emotional wellbeing. I used to have a sports massage twice a month from traning, and now have one maybe every six months. When I miss yoga for a couple of weeks for whatever reason, my back takes serious strain.I love yoga, and will do it for the rest of my life. - Bonnie van Niekerk
