  • Focusing: paying attention and concentrating will help you remember.
  • Saying it again: repetition helps stamp things into your mind.
  • Writing it down: it reinforces thought.
  • Playing games: do word searches, crossword puzzles and play trivia.
  • Learning new tricks: take up a new hobby, or study a language.
  • Following a scheme: keep a calendar and check it often.
  • Munching on memory foods: fruit, vegetables and grains are rich in memory-boosting antioxidants.
  • Tuning into music: it nourishes your brain.
  • Getting moving: regular exercise improves oxygen flow to your brain.
