Recruitment and structured interviewing of patients with a primary diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder in the Western and Southern Cape and surrounding areas.
Regular communication with the study coordinator and transfer of data and samples to the MRC Unit on Anxiety & Stress Disorders, Tygerberg.

Requirements:
Willing to work, either part- or full-time, in the larger geographical areas of the Western and Southern Cape.
Applicants must be a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist or have similar expertise and experience working with anxiety disorder patients.
Excellent communicative skills in Afrikaans and English.
Recommendations:
Ability to work independently.
Willingness to be trained with regard to structured interviewing.
Ability to actively liaise with clinicians in the area.
Possibility of furthering his/her academic career (writing research papers under supervision and/or PhD).
Position:
One-year research post, with the possibility of longer-term involvement.
