A 20-year-old man, and a 10-year-old girl have recently died in an outbreak of yellow fever in Senegal, the World Health Organization confirmed.
The deaths occurred in the district of Goudiri on 25 September and 30 September this year.

Meanwhile, the Senegalese Ministry of Health, UNICEF, and the WHO, have already organised a massive immunisation campaign to suppress the spread of the disease.
The campaign aims at targeting more than 150 000 people in the districts of Goudiri and the neighbouring district of Kidira.
