Some people are a little squeamish about sticking a little piece of plastic into the eye. Here’s how to put your contact lenses in without tears.
Keep your fingernails trimmed and clean. Wash your hands with soap and rinse them off well. Be sure that they’re free of traces of nicotine or any of the stuff you use while doing your ablutions, such as perfume, cold cream or toothpaste;

Open the vial and pour the contents into your cupped hand;
Keep your hand cupped and pour saline solution into it, allowing the excess to run out between your fingers;
Put the contact lens facing downward on the tip of your index finger of your dominant hand. Remember that your finger should be dry;
Roll your eyes heavenwards, pull your lower eyelid outward and gently push the contact lens onto the lower part of the eyeball;
Apply the most of gentle of pressure to expel any air from behind the lens, then slowly release the lower eyelid;
Close your eye and gently rub the eyelid to help centre it on the eye;
Cover the other eye and check that your vision is clear, which will indicate that the lens is centred on the eye;
