There is no point in complicating your life by choosing the wrong clothing.

All dressed down. It is never a good idea to wear clothing that restricts the chest and abdomen. Tight bras, belts and girdles should not be worn. If you have to choose between style and comfort, go for comfort every time.

Don't belt them. Men may find suspenders a lot more comfortable than belts that could be restrictive.

Sock it to them. Socks are much more comfortable than trying to struggle into pantyhose. Short socks are best, as longer ones are often kept up by restrictive elastics.

Slip it on. Shoes that can be slipped on are much better, because then you don't have to bend down to tie the shoelaces.

The right support. Try camisoles or sports bras as a more comfortable alternative to restrictive bras – especially those with underwire.

Up to your neck. Avoid tight neckbands and ties. Wear scarves or kerchiefs as an alternative. For formal occasions use a clip-on tie.

Cotton on to coolness. Cotton garments are more comfortable and cooler than synthetic fabrics. In hot climates, cotton garments are preferable.
