Health workers (usually a clinic sister or a doctor) will arrange for analysis of your sputum. Sometimes it may be necessary to do an X-ray, but this is no longer a routine investigation for all patients where TB is suspected.
These investigations are done at municipal clinics at no cost to the patient.
