Is your teen into contact sports? Then there's a very real chance that he could lose a tooth during a tough game. Fortunately, quick and proper action can still help save it.
Take action:
Rinse the tooth in clear water; put it back in the socket or hold it under the tongue (or place it in a glass of milk or a wet cloth); hold gauze or a clean handkerchief or tissue on the socket if it's bleeding; and get to a dentist within 30 minutes.
