Diet plays an important role in protecting kids' teeth as they grow older and start getting their permanent teeth. Here's how to look after your kids' dental health.
Take action:
Make sure your child eats breakfast – research has shown that kids who don't eat breakfast have higher levels of tooth decay because they tend to snack more; include five servings of fruit and veggies in your child's diet every day – this will also lower the tendency to snack; limit your child's intake of bread, pasta and sugary snacks or drinks; and restrict your children to one glass of juice a day – rather include more water in the diet.
