In addition, Medihelp has been awarded the overall eighth place out of the 65 companies that have been included in this research project on client satisfaction.

The Orange Index was conducted by Ask Afrika and targeted people from across South Africa to test their satisfaction with the client service rendered by a variety of companies and institutions. In the section for medical schemes Medihelp proved to be the best by a substantial margin.

Staff satisfaction = client satisfaction
According to Anton Rijnen, Chief Executive Officer of Medihelp, excellent client service can rarely be achieved unless a company’s staff is also satisfied. “Happy staff members equates to happy clients. That’s why we spend equal amounts of time and effort on ensuring that our staff is just as satisfied as our clients”, says Rijnen.

The research company T.W.I.G. SA rated Medihelp the best medical scheme in the country with regard to client service in 2006.

The international rating company Global Credit Rating awarded an A+ rating to Medihelp for the ninth consecutive year for its claims-paying ability.

Medihelp was named one of South Africa’s 40 best companies to work for in Deloitte and the Financial Mail’s Best Company to Work For survey in September 2006.
