Questions about medication
If you are on medication and have questions about your treatment but aren’t sure who to ask, or are you experiencing side effects and need advice, this is your chance.
“It’s vital for our well-being and health to be able to access information regarding our medical treatment. Sometimes, however, doctors don’t have time to give us all the information we need,” says SADAG’s Cassey Chambers. The Facebook Friday chat allows you to interact live with experts and to ask the many questions you may have about your or a loved one’s treatment or medication – without having to pay a consultation fee. For one hour, your questions, however complicated, will be answered live.
To log in, go to our Facebook page: “The South African Depression and Anxiety Group”or our website www.sadag.org
SADAG’s helplines, staffed by trained volunteer counsellors are open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. To contact SADAG, call us on 0800 21 22 23, or visit our website, www.sadag.org for information, questionnaires and articles on mental health.
For more information on this press release, please contact Cassey or Meryl on 011 262 6396 or 082 835 7650.
