The Honda Fit 1.5 Hybrid e:HEV facelift, launched in South Africa late in 2023, brings a blend of efficiency, technology, and practicality to the compact hatchback segment.

But, priced at R544 900, it faces stiff competition from the best-selling Toyota Corolla Cross, which often emerges as the more appealing choice in several key areas. The Honda Fit e-CVT boasts a sleek, modern design perfect for urban environments. Its compact dimensions, 4 089mm in length, 1 694mm in width, and 1 537mm in height, make it easy to navigate tight city streets and park in small spaces.

Standard 16-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights add to its stylish appearance. However, compared to the Toyota Corolla Cross, which offers a more rugged, SUV-inspired design, the Fit's hatchback styling might seem less appealing to those who prefer a more commanding road presence. The Corolla Cross also provides higher ground clearance and is better suited for varied terrains.
