As part of the Franschhoek Literary Festival (FLF), local schools put their literary knowledge to the test during the Phendulani Quiz on Friday.

British comedian, actor and author David Walliams also did a reading for the schools during the event and handed out prizes for the three best teams.

Three schools competed in the quiz: Dalubuhle Primary, Groendal Primary, and Wes-Eind Primary, which hosted the occasion.
