Boy or girl - a pregnancy myth

You're pregnant and everyone has a way to help you determine whether it's a boy or a girl.

One time-honoured method says it's a girl if you're carrying the baby high and it's a boy if you're carrying low.

It's a myth, unfortunately, says the Health and Nutrition Centre in Surry County.

Carrying high means either it's your first pregnancy or you're incredibly fit. With each pregnancy, certain muscles become more elastic. Exercises after pregnancy can bring them back to form.

So, if you really want to know if it's a boy or girl, see your doctor.
