Avoid polluted environments, notably industrial areas and busy roads; avoid areas where people are smoking; renovating your home involves the use of several potentially harmful chemicals – put off renovations, or live somewhere else while they’re under way; reduce the chemical load in your home by cutting down on cleaning and ‘sanitising’ products – experiment by simply using less of a product less often, and harnessing the cleansing and disinfecting powers of fresh air and sunlight; eat only fat-free dairy products, and, if you eat meat, consider cutting down, and go for lean cuts – certain heavy metals and toxins accumulate in fatty tissue.
