There's little doubt about the benefits of breastfeeding. But if you're breastfeeding your baby, it can be hard to tell if he or she is getting enough milk.
Take action:
Infants who aren't getting enough breast milk during feedings will display one or more of these signs: seem to be hungry all the time; appear irritable or cry soon after being taken off the breast; don't wake regularly for feedings; fall asleep at the breast early during a feed; don't demonstrate deep sucking and swallowing.
