 Chest
Injuries to the chest are not common. Only 0 - 5% of all sports injuries are chest injuries.

However, these injuries may be dangerous, and demand immediate medical attention. Chest (thoracic) injuries include rib contusions, rib fractures, costochondral separation and dislocation, sternum fracture, muscle injuries, injuries to the lungs, heart contusions and even sudden death syndrome in some contact sports.
