HIPS
A hip pointer injury is a bruise to the crest of the pelvis. Many muscles are attached here and if these muscles also get damaged, making movement very painful.

Comparing retired football players with a control group of men of the same average age and weight, researchers also found osteoarthritis of the hip joint more often in the football players (49,1%) than in the control group (26,3%).

Excessive repetitive loading on the hip joints of soccer players may be a contributing factor, experts reckon.
