The 2006 Discovery Vitality fitness convention will be by far bigger and better than previous ones, according to the Sports Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA).
Running from 3 to 6 May at Vodaworld in Johannesburg, the convention will include practical and theoretical workshops dealing with the latest trends and up to date research for personal trainers, group training instructors, biokineticists, physiotherapists, pilates and yoga instructors, health club managers, sports scientists, fitness trainers and students and everyone else linked to the Health and Fitness Industry.

One of the highlights of the event this year is the introduction of a pre-convention. This will focus on the growing Mind-Body trend, and more specifically on Yoga, Pilates and other mind-body activities. The pre-convention will run a day prior to the Fitness Convention, on Wednesday 3 May.
With Professor Tim Noakes, athletics legend Edwin Moses and top businessman Adrian Gore secured as keynote presenters, the 2006 convention is not to be missed.
