The Sports Science Institute of South Africa's (SSISA) eight-week Healthy Weight Programme, designed in conjunction with the Exercise Science and Sports Medicine Department at the University of Cape Town, offers a scientifically-based, holistic and safe avenue to reduce or manage your weight through education, exercise, diet and psychological intervention.

The approach is simple – to achieve lifestyle change. Throughout the programme you are taught the fundamentals of healthy eating and exercise, based on active learning and hands-on participation by SSISA’s highly skilled team of dieticians and biokineticists.
The programme will take you through a number of phases from needs analysis and goal setting to dietary and educational advice, so whether you have a minimal or a large amount of weight to lose, your needs will be addressed.
